My DH was diagnosed with diabetes at a young age to (7) and he had a kidney transplant about 5 years ago due to renal failure. My heart goes out to you and your family. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. If there is anything I can do let me know. I know you said your daughter will continue to eat normal foods but I have a box of cookbooks that are diabetic receipes, if you like I can pull them out and send them to you, you may get more use out of them then they are sitting in a box unused. The receipes in them are pretty straight forward none of this diet crap. Let me know, no pressure.ChrissyMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15290856243069487038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3007017458423167174.post-82399154996698749392008-09-21T22:44:00.000-04:002008-09-21T22:44:00.000-04:00Oy. My best friend in college had Type I, and I have a student that wears a pump, and it's hardly noticeable. She is as active as any other 7th grader. My grandmother had Type II. Thank goodness it is manageable. I'll continue my prayers for you and your family nonetheless.Forgetfulonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07895803172098820967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3007017458423167174.post-57281457301341085322008-09-21T22:06:00.000-04:002008-09-21T22:06:00.000-04:00You all can do this, Amy!
