A Cricut!! (and a chance for you to win one)

I was absolutely shocked yesterday. My husband surprised me for my birthday with a CricutExpressions.... which, for those of you who don't know, is an awesome cutting machine used in paper crafting. Amazon describes it as:
Cricutis your personal cutting system that does not require a computer. Its cartridge-based system allows you to cut thousands of beautiful shapes, letters, and phrases in a variety of sizes and styles with just the touch of a button. This cricut machine cuts letters and shapes from 1" up to 5.5", on paper, cardstock, vellum and other materials.
I have joked about getting one for a long time now- along with the vacation home and fancy new cars we'll get when we win the lottery. (Of course, we'd have to start buying lottery tickets in order for that to happen.) I never really thought I'd have one- after all, there are plenty of other more important things for us to spend money on. But, somehow, despite money being rather tight lately, he managed to come up with this for my birthday. Do I have an amazing husband, or what?! :)

And.... while out blog surfing today I came across this contest for you to win your very own Cricut Expressions. Since I won't be entering, there's a better chance for you to win! ;)

  2. You're going to love it! I got mine about a month ago. I use it for scrapbooking, but I also used it to make things for my bulletin boards at school. And I have a great idea for decor once I get the right cartridge!
