End of Summer Blog-abration

Tasra_dawson_blogabration Here's a fun blog carnival, hosted by Tasra over at Lessons From the Scrapbook Page. I've enjoyed Tasra's site for a while now- hop on over and visit her for neat scrappin' ideas and more, and join the Blog-abration for your chance to win some neat prizes!

I really enjoy scrapbooking, but I'm sad to say, I haven't done any in a couple of months now. My life has been busier than usual lately, and by the time I have a few minutes to get out my scrapbook supplies, I'm too tired to actually do anything with them. I've been organizing supplies and pulling together some ideas in the last few weeks for some small albums I want to work on, though.

I think my next project will be a small album, made with my 4 year-old daughter, in memory of our cat who just passed away. I think once I gather the pictures, it will go together fairly quickly. I'm planning to let my daughter's memories fill in most of the journaling, and I think it will be a good project for us to do together.

If you've done any pet memorial albums, or can point me to some good inspiration for this album, I'd love to hear from you!

  1. Just stopping by from the Blog-Abration.

What a wonderful idea putting together a memory album for your cat. I think it would be so neat to come up with some questions to ask your family members...regarding memories they have of your cat. (Ex: What is something funny you remember (cat's name) doing?)
