my first ever digi layout (done a couple of weeks ago, just posted this week)
And here are the kid-friendly recipe 6x6" pages I just swapped out this week for my friend Sarah's swap: (The orange fibers match better in person, I promise!)
I also bought the album, stickers, and just a few sheets of special paper for our family zoo album from our visit in April. Last week I got the photos printed, so it's progressing one step at a time! (You might remember that I had sworn off buying supplies last month, but the splurge on the zoo supplies was a part of my Mother's Day gift from my DH! )
To-Do's:
- continue working on the alphabet border swap (Wow, this has turned into a huge project. Remind me of this the next time I sign up for a swap that involves sending out 27 page kits!!)
- learn how to use my new Cropadile (the other part of my Mother's Day gift)
- start on some layouts for the zoo album
And.... Well, normally there'd be a bonus question to answer here, but this week I decided to start something new and throw out a random item for Sunday Scrappin' participants' creations this week. So, next week at this time, this spot will be filled in with whatever I make with buttons on it! ;)
If you do any sort of paper crafts,
I hope you'll join us at Sunday Scrappin'!
Your mothers day cards are goregous. Love your digital scrapbook page. I haven't tried a digital scrapbooking yet but I have been downloading all the free kits of the web. I love your receipe pages. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE my crop-a-dile. I hope you enjoy yours! Good luck this week. I can't wait to see what every one does with the challenge.

ReplyDeleteA recipe album is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteOne step at a time is one step closer to the end. You are doing good so try not to get overwhelmed.
Nice work! It cracks me up that you swore off buying new supplies. I don't know how many times I have said, "Until I use some of what I've got, I CANNOT buy anything else." Then I happen to stroll down the scrapbook aisle and find some adorable paper, or something on sale... you know how it goes!!! ha. Love to scrapbook, but struggle to find the time. I also love making cards, but the story's the same! God bless.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I'm attempting to do your challenges.
