Off to Kindergarten

I am officially the mother of a kindergartener now. DD was quiet this morning and kept saying she didn't want to go, but when the bus pulled up, she practically hopped up the steps, grinning and waving. :) She was the only student on the bus and her bus driver, Mrs. Pat, was very friendly, even offering to see if the stop can be moved closer to our house.

Hopefully DD is having a great time right now meeting all her new classmates. As for me, I'm going to enjoy my quiet house for a few minutes while DS naps, and then I think I'll bake a cake to celebrate. :)
