I'm not intending to turn this into solely a frugal blog, but lately I've been doing more shopping for the holidays, and thus, bumping into more great deals... and it seems selfish not to share! :)
Today at Target I did the diaper deal from their ad- buy three packs of Huggies (regular or pull-ups) on sale for $9.99 each, and get a $5 gift card. I was pleasantly surprised to find a $1 coupon on all three packages of Huggies. So, originally $29.97, minus $5 received on gift card, minus $3 in coupons, equals a final total of $21.97, which is actually a little less than the store brand diapers I usually buy. And, I avoided an extra trip into another store across town with two children who had had their fill of shopping already.... which makes the deal all better for me and the general shopping public in my city. ;)
Deal #2: Hobby Lobby has all of their remaining fall decorations for 90% OFF. Yes, off. That means you're only paying 10% of the original price. I grabbed a pile of artificial gourds, which will replace this year's real-but-eventually-moldy display on the table in the entry way.
Why do you need gourds and don't you think you should check with your husband before you spend all of HIS money. By the way I heard you have lovely children and your husband is the best in the world.
ReplyDeleteDear Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteI thought it was OUR money... but you're right about the lovely children and great husband.
