Simon and the Easter Miracle: A Traditional Tale for Easter is a children's book telling the traditional European tale of Simon of Cyrene, who helps Jesus carry his cross on the way to his crucifixion. The book is full of stylized illustrations and charming artwork.
While the story was nice, I felt like the ending of the tale was a little abrupt, and the meaning too vague for children to understand on their own. I actually double checked the book to see if I had skipped any pages. With adult discussion, though, kids will see how it correlates to the Easter miracle of our risen Lord.
