Off the couch...

Finally. I've spent most of the last few days since my surgery on the couch. The pain was pretty much gone after two days, and I'm off the pain meds that were making me so dizzy and sleepy, but I'm still nauseated for some reason. I'll go along feeling fine for a few hours, and I'll eat regular food, and then every few hours I just get these big waves of nausea that seem to come out of nowhere and I have to sit down for a while. Blah.

In good news... the lump/pain turned out to be quite fixable and nothing serious. I feel weird posting details here, so if you really wanna know, ask me. ;) I'm cooking "real" food for the first time tonight (just posted the chicken recipe over on my cooking blog) and trying to will myself to feel normal again since I have to go to work tommorow.... we'll see if it works!

I'm off now to pick up the house a bit before DS's home visiting nurse gets here. She's a very nice lady, but in all the months she's been assigned to us, she's never once come on time... I wonder when she'll show up today?! Oh well, I shouldn't complain, I'm glad to have her services and she does only come every few months, so it's not a major hassle. After she's done I plan to spend the evening relaxing and enjoying our rare "family night" at home. :)

It's Breast Cancer Awareness month! Have you done your breast self-exam this month?

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I have to say that right now, the thought of another pregnancy is a huge struggle for me right now. We'll see where God leads us!
