Everything-- cars, sidewalks, trees, grass-- is covered in about half an inch of ice. It seems strange that enough snow has melted over the last few days that we can actually see grass through the ice.
It's been quiet for a few hours now, but the second round of this storm is due to hit us within the hour. My prayers are with all those who have to be out in this mess- police officers, rescue workers, and utility workers. Stay safe!
