I was just honored with this award thanks to Shera over at There's A Frog In My Soup. It's so nice to feel appreciated! Thank you, Shera!
The way this works, I now I have to name five blogs that make me think and pass the award on to them. That's hard... there are so many good blogs out there! (Not to mention that my "favorites file" recently was wiped out in the great computer catastrophe, AND, you can't give this award to someone who's had it already. Whew!) Here are five of my many favorites:
- I'm An Organizing Junkie is one of my favorite reads. Laura hosts Menu Plan Monday and the 30-Day Organizational Challenge. She also shares lots of organizing tips and photos of her own projects. She inspires me!
- Ask Sister Mary Martha cracks me up, and yet makes me think, too. She explains all things Catholic with the dry wit of an knuckle-smacking nun. Whether you're Catholic or not, I think you'll enjoy her blog.
- Katrina at Callipidder Days not only has people thinking, but reading! Her Spring Reading Thing is fun for people like me who love to read. I've enjoyed checking out everyone's reading lists through here meme, too.
- Sara's Frugal Notebook always has interesting posts about the frugal life. I've been a member of her Frugal Village forum for several years now. Sara's writings are guaranteed to make you think. And if you need a good laugh, scroll down and check out the "Frugal Bathroom" post!
- And last, but not least, Lessons from the Laundry, How A Woman Found Peace Among the Piles is a good one. Personal stories about finding missing socks and a husband's smelly work clothes are translated into deeper thoughts and life lessons. It's always an interesting stop.
OK, and for the record, all this thinking about who makes me think has somehow put that 80's song in my head.... "things that make you go Hmmmmm".... "things that make you go hmmm-mmmmm". Ugh! (Edited to add: OK, I had to look it up. It was Things That Make You Go Hmmm, by C&C Music Factory, in 1990. Now if I can just get that chorus out of my head....)
AWARD DETAILS: Congratulations, you won a Thinking Blogger award!
Should you choose to participate, please make sure you pass this list of rules to the blogs you are tagging.
The participation rules are simple: 1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme, 3. Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote. That was that! Please, remember to tag blogs with real merits, i.e. relative content, and above all - blogs that really get you thinking!
Oh thank you so much Amy! How sweet of you to include me :)
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing on your challenge? Hope all is well!
