Apparently I'll be spending some portion of today in a desperate search for a library video. We've looked in all the usual places, but my nifty system of keeping track of our library books & videos has failed us. The video isn't in the red basket, and it's not on/under/near the couch where DD last watched it. Gremlins have apparently come in and swiped it during the night. ::sigh:: At a late fee of $1 per day (and we've already renewed it, so that's not an option) we simply HAVE to find this thing. Today.
I should have known when DD picked the video out that it was bad news... after all, who wants to watch "A Snoopy Christmas" in June?! My DD, apparently.
If you don't hear from me for a few days, you'll know I've fallen into the black hole with the video... someone please notify the library in that case, and maybe they'll be lenient on the fines.
We've gotten in trouble with library videos around here too! Thanks for coming by my blog. That's cool that you make breakfast sandwiches too! Making homemade biscuits is more work, but they were worth it! Anyway, have a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteOh boy, I just got a notification from the library, too. We've lost a book-Coyote Counts. Gee, wonder who lost that one! lol. I guess we'll be paying in full for it, because we can't find it ANYWHERE! And you know darn well, as soon as we pay for it, we'll find it!
