Unconscious Mutterings

Unconscious Mutterings gives you a list of words, and you respond with the first thing that pops into your mind. It sounded like fun, so here's my first one.

  1. Signature :: What popped into my head was an image of those credit card machines at most stores where you sign your name on a screen. I'm particular about my handwriting, and I'm always annoyed that those machines make my writing look bad.
  2. Olympics :: Swimming. I'm not really into the Olympics, but my husband has been following the swimming guy and a few others.
  3. 100% :: pure apple juice. LOL. I don't know why, that's just what popped into my head.
  4. Damn! :: Frankly, Scarlett.... ;)
  5. Gold :: Rush. Have you seen on the news recently where panning for gold is all the rage in California?
  6. Fresh and natural :: Peaches. I'd really like to head out to the local farmer's market and get some fresh peaches and tomatoes tomorrow.
  7. Fraction :: School. I always had a hard time with math.
  8. Hurry :: Up! This would be me, repeating this over and over, practically every time we're going somewhere. It drives me insane when the kids forever to get to the door.
  9. Summer :: I can't believe it's almost over.
  10. 29th :: I had a couple of 29th birthdays before I finally gave in and decided to turn 30. ;)

  3. I enjoyed your ‘mutterings’ this week … and like your husband I’ve been following Michael Phelps’ accomplishments in the pool (yup that’s the swimming guy’s name) and blogging about him and a few other Olympic athletes. I muttered at Small Reflections on Sunday too.
    Hugs and blessings,

  4. I had not thought of the fabric sheets before, but it makes sense. I never use them in my dryer, but just for rubbing on staticky clothes in what passes for a winter here on the Texas Gulf Coast.

    If y'all are ever in Houston, you had better come by! I'd even make whatever dish you request so we could visit over a nice dinner. :)
