WFMW: cure for rough, dry feet

For years I've had trouble with rough, dry skin on my feet. It was constantly cracking open and bleeding, no matter what I tried to stop it. I have literally tried every over-the counter cream and ointment that I could find in stores, I've tried buffing the skin, I've tried filing it away. Nothing worked, other that wearing band-aids on my toes all the time. That was a lovely look and all, but it really didn't work for me. ;)

Finally, at an unrelated doctor's appointment a few weeks ago, I asked my doctor what she'd recommend, and she said to try a PedEgg, because that's what she uses. I'd seen the commercial on tv but hadn't really given it much thought. I figured since my doctor recommended it, though, I'd give it a try.

Guess what? That little egg-shaped pedicure tool really works! You simply rub it over your feet and the rough skin painlessly comes right off. It got rid of my dry skin the very first night, and my skin hasn't cracked or bled once since I tried it. The PedEgg- it definitely works for me!

P.S. The PedEgg people aren't paying me for this post. The only way this would be a compensated endorsement is if you'd happen to purchase one through my Amazon link, in which case I'd make something like twelve cents in profits. ;)

  1. You know I've seen the commercial for this and hadn't thought much of it, but my mom suffers from dry cracked feet and may find this tool to be very helpful. Thank you for sharing!

  2. I tried it too and was very impressed. My rhino-hide feet were MUCH smoother for a significant amount of time after I used it. It takes quite a bit to do that!

  3. Thank you!
My feet become horrible in the summer since I wear flip-flops non-stop. My dh even complains of my "scratchy feet". :(
I've seen this at Bed, Bath & Beyond, too. I just might have to try it. :)

  5. I have actually bought one of these, but I haven't tried it yet. I hate my feet. I have written posts on how much I hate my feet. Your WFMW post caught my eye. I am going to have to take it out and try it!

  7. Oh, thank you for writing up this review.

I've ssen it on TV, at Mervyns several weeks ago and at WalMart today. I think I'll take this "cosmic" hint and buy one tonight.

I'd love to be one of those ladies with beautiful feet. Right now I have beautiful toes because of a fench manicure I got in June, Yes, June! And it's still looking great.
