Fall, Y'all! Bloggy Giveaway

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket It's Bloggy Giveaway time again! What fun! :)

This time I'll be giving away a scrapbooking package... a brand-new copy of the book Scrapbooking Roads (Confession- I actually won this myself recently, but since I won't be doing any travel any time soon, I'd rather send the book on to bless another scrapbooker!) I'll also throw in some other scrapbooking goodies.

*To enter, you must leave a comment below about scrapbooking-- telling me what scrapbooking project you are currently working on, your favorite supplies, how you find time to scrap, whatever. **Comments that just say "enter me", "sounds good", or the like don't count!** Also, be sure that your comment links back to your blog or email address so I can contact you if you win.

The fine print: This contest is only open to US residents. All entries must be posted by 10am Eastern Time, Sunday, November 4th. I'll draw a winner later that day.

Also... I'm thinking of starting a Sunday meme about Scrapbooking-- let me know below if you'd be interested in participating!

October was Breast Cancer Awareness month! Have you done your breast self-exam lately?

I know you're running off to enter more contests, but I'd love for you to stick around and check out the rest of my blog! :)

  1. Hi Amy,
I love to scrapbook in my spare time-- which is usually late in the evening. I try to make a "yearly" scrapbook for my kids, in which I cover all our field trips, travel, family events and holidays.
    Have a great week,
    Pam

  2. My sister got me addicted to scrap booking when we created a memory book for our parents 60th and 65th birthdays. I have a 3 month old, so I don't have much time to scrapbook, but I find a few hours a few evenings a week.

  3. My sister and I are working on a scrapbook in memory of our mother, and this would be a great addition to it!

  4. I scrap book first thing in the morning (between 6:30am and 7am) for 15 or 20 minutes every day. That way I get my "me time" in before the kids get up. Right now I'm working on our everyday family album and my wedding album...only 7 years after the fact!!

    ReplyDelete
  5. I used to scrapbook everything, but that was impossible to keep up with. I now have a vacation book, the completed scrapbook from my wedding/showers/etc, and a miscellaneous "special moments" scrapbook. Much easier to keep up with so it's much more fun!

  7. I have so many projects going and so little time these days....a few of them are the life books for my two foster kids, our family album, our foster care album, some wall art for my foster daughter's room..........things are really crazy....actually, right now I could use a few extra un-interupted hours to scrapbook....you're not giving away any of those are you? *GRIN* Thanks for the contest.

  9. I just barely started scrapbooking about a month ago. I'm working on a scrapbook about my son--he's 7 months old. About every 2 weeks I get together with friends for a scrapbooking night, so I'm moving along fairly quickly with my project. At any rate, I LOVE SCRAPBOOKING! hillarycampos@gmail.com

  10. I have only done one actual scrapbook for my middle son's high school graduation, but I have used scrapbooking supplies for cards and bookmarks. I need to redo all of my old photo albums as well as get several years worth of pictures sorted and into albums. Just this weekend I received scores of old photos of my mother and her parents and extended relatives as well as diplomas, birth and death certificates, etc. from my aunt's cedar chest -- I would love to put them all together into a vintage scrapbook. I've thought about doing separate books for travels or vacations because those pictures don't always fit well in a regular chronological photo album -- they almost need their own.

  11. I'm currently working on several scrapbooks. The most recent is my daughter's 2nd birthday. I feel like I'm never going to get caught up. I guess, if I stop taking so many pictures, I won't need to scrapbook so much ;-)

Baby books for all the blessings and trying to finish our trip to Disney album from before the last 2 blessings were ever born - actually blessing #2 was a little Disney souvenir, but that's another story! Ahem! I am currently working on a page of one of the blessings SANDY feet ( who can resist sandy feet???)- I am trying to come up with a precious and unique title at the moment! My favorite tool is of course my Cricut! SANTA brought it to me last Christmas - he got it on special sale at JoAnn's last Thanksgiving - b/c of course he is after all he is a THRIFTY kind of jolly old elf now isn't he?
    Sweet blessings!

  22. It's so fun to find a fellow scrapbooker! I am currently working on my son's baby album! It's so much fun but hard to find the time. I have been trying to work on it a little at a time while he naps (he's not a great sleeper so this can be a challenge). I am also a Creative Memories Consultant so I am working on getting my business up and started. I would love to be involved in anything you start up that is scrapbook related. Come enter my contest for a gift certificate.

  31. I am still working on scrapbooks for my four boys. It seems like, everytime I sit down to start something, I get so overwhelmed with where to start. I figured I should start at the beginning (their births) and work from there. As they get older and I take more pictures, it seems like such a daunting task! But I enjoy it (when I get the time) and find it relaxing. I don't get to scrap as much as I want to....maybe when they are all moved out, lol.

  32. My daughter is the scrapper. I'd love to win this for her.

Oh wow, what a great giveaway. Please count me in!

  33. I'm working on my 2007 album right now -- last year I was working feverishly on my son's "Baby's First Year" album and I completed it when he was only 14 months old. I haven't kept the pace up, though, and I'm getting behind! I just don't get as much scrapping time these days with a toddler. Anyway - I'd love to read this book! And, I'd be interested in a scrapbooking meme, too. :-)

  36. I'm interested in a scrapbooking meme.

I've been scrapbooking for almost 8 years yet I perpetually remain about 2-3 years behind with "current" pics. My current scrapbook project is a 12x12 Creative Memories album in memory of my son who I lost at 15 weeks along this past April. I kept every greeting card, every token we had, even the parking stub from our ER visit.

Thanks for the chance to win the scrapbooking goodies!
