Weight Loss Challenge: 7/10

The only thing I'm losing lately is my mind.... ahem. I'm having an issue with a long-term female health condition that I don't care to spell out here... believe me, you don't want the gory details (or maybe you do, but I'm not tellin'). Anyways, I weighed myself this morning, cursed, and decided that I'd just choose to ignore the scale until my other issue is resolved. So there, evil scale, take that!

At any rate, the pink water bottle is working for me. I'm not chugging down the recommended eight glasses a day yet, but, I'm getting in the equivalent of 3-5 glasses a day right now, which is a lot more than I was drinking. It helps that I realized that since it's a 24oz bottle, I'd only have to drink two and a half bottles full to meet my daily needs. Somehow that makes it seem more do-able than actually filling a glass eight times. Lazy, maybe... but I'm going with whatever works!

I hope the rest of you WLC particpants are still going strong!

  3. Hope everything works out soon!

And I am with you on the using a big bottle for my water. It is much easier to think "Oh, I only need 1 more bottle" instead of "Crap, I need 3 more glasses?"

    Good luck this week!

  4. Good for you! And I recently heard that we do not need 8 glasses of water a day unless we are outside in the heat. 3 to 4 glasses is all we need. I'm not sure if this is true but I sure liked it! I'm choking down 2 glasses a day right now and that is a chore for me.
    Good luck this week!
