Sunday Scrappin' #10

Sunday Scrappin’ My Ta-Da's for the week: I didn't get everything done that I had hoped, but life does tend to work that way. Silly things like sick children and work keep interfering with my crafting time. ;)

I was pretty happy with the way this framed pic of my kids came out. The frame was one I'd bought a few years back with a collage mat in it, but then it got wet when our 44-gallon fishtank overflowed, and the collage mat was unusable. So I've finally brought it in from the garage, dusted it off, and used it to frame this:

I loved the way this My Mind's Eye paper, from a large Magnolia pack I already had, just matched the bandana print. The only new item I bought for this was the little wooden horse in the corner, and he was $ .59.

As for the craft area.... it's still an ongoing project. My goal is to have pics for you next Sunday!

To-Do's for this coming week: As always, work on finishing up this craft area in terms of the cabinet and reorganizing my paper. I also need to make and send a sympathy card to a friend, and work on a card swap that's due around the first of February.

And for this week's "bonus question":Which of your recent projects were you the most proud of? (Any photos?) Recently, I'd have to say my Christmas cards. It's not that they were amazing works of art or anything, but I was proud of getting them done and being able to share something handmade with loved ones.

If you do any sort of papercrafts, not just scrapbooking, I hope you'll join us over at Sunday Scrappin'!

  1. That frame is cute! I've got a collage frame with really old pictures in it - what a great idea to reuse an item! Your cards are really cute too, one of these years I might make cards - for now I just print a letter to send along with a picture. Have a great week!

  3. Your frame turned out so nice! I am in the process of trying to organize my scrapping area too...key word 'trying'. :) I didn't get my Chriastmas cards made in time last year so that is one of my goals for this year. Have a wonderful week! :)
