Ten on Tuesday: Movies I Want To See

Ten movies that I've intended to watch, but haven't yet:
1.) The Passion of the Christ (have borrowed a copy of this one but haven't found kid-free time to watch it yet)
2.) Pay It Forward (DH got this one for me when we found it for $3)
3.) Casablanca
4.) Juno
5.) that documentary of Al Gore's about global warming
6.) Ratatouille
7.) The Secret
8.) Therese --the life story of St. Therese
9.) Rent
10.) Elizabeth- The Golden Age

If you've seen any of these, I'd love to hear what you thought of them. If there's something I shouldn't waste my time on, please let me know-- my movie-viewing time is pretty limited!

    #4 is so cute!

#7 was inspiring ... take and use what you can from it.

I started watching #9 a couple years ago but found it kinda depressing :(

    I played :)

  2. The Passion of the Christ is intense. I don't regret seeing it at all, but I never want to see it again.

Casablanca is a classic - you gotta see it! My kids thought Ratatouille was cute. I haven't seen any of the others....

Happy Tuesday! Thanx for stopping by my blog! Come back anytime!

  3. I'm scared to see Passion of the Christ. LOL!! Ratatouille is cute, though, and Rent is one of my favorites. I saw it on Broadway, too, back in 2000. The Al Gore thing bored me to tears. It was informative, but documentaries just aren't my thing.

  4. #3, 5, & 7 are worth your time, definitely.

Casablanca is a classic, you need to see at least once, so you understand when others talk about/reference it.

An Inconvenient Truth has lots of facts about global warming that will startle you, and make you want to do everything you can to save the planet.

The Secret is just a very interesting movie. I've taken a couple things from it and applied it to my life. If you can believe things that may seem obscure at first, you might like it. I recommend it to all my friends, esp the ones that often think negative thoughts.

Feel free to visit my list, too!

  5. I don't know why I can't see your list. For some reason all the images have been deleted by Photobucket. Strange.

  6. I haven't seen Passion of the Christ...we have it..i just don't think i can bare to watch Jesus suffer...i think it would hurt my heart too badly.

Pay it forward is super duper good. The al gore video...aaaahhh..i dunno. It kinda makes sense..but i have read things by christian scientists that say he is full of it....plus he acts like he is soo conscious of the planet as he flies around in his co2 admitting jet....know what i mean? he just annoys me LOL.

  9. Thanks for visiting Small Reflections, validating my penchant for rule breaking, and letting me know your post was now readable. I've heard good things about Juno and will watch it (maybe) once it shows up on cable. I've seen Pay it Forward and Rent (enjoyed each one) ... own an unwatched copy of Al Gore's documentary and have a copy of The Passion of the Christ recorded on my DVR since Christmas I believe so I don't know whether or not it's still accessible ... but I would like to see it. I just don't watch much TV any more and haven't been to a movie theater in 3 or 4 years. It seems I can't be much help with feedback. I do see that I should add a link to Ten on Tuesday and Wordless Wednesday on my post, so I'll go do that before I forget. Good luck with your Etsy Store idea!

  10. Some excellent choices ma'am. Ratatouille is REALLY cute, Rent is one of my favorites ever, Pay It Forward is really good, and I LOVED Juno. :)
Good list, I agree most definitely.

  11. Where is Gone with the Wind? That is a true classic :0 I could watch it over and over. The Passion was good but DH and I disagree as to wether or not the kids should watch it, I say no. As for the Al Gore thing, I wouldn't watch it because I think he is full of malarky and until he stops flying his personal jets it doesn't amount to much.
    God bless,
    Sarah
