My first digi layout

As a part of her fun Scrapbook Blog Party, Carolyn has asked us to share the first layout that we digi-scrapped. Mine was just a few weeks ago, when I scrapped this photo for my youngest sister as a part of her pink and black birthday basket. The photo is from last fall, when she and her roommate got to meet Justin Chambers (AKA: Dr. Alex Karev from Grey's Anatomy).

I liked this, but I felt limited by the program I had to work with (but it was free, so I'm certainly not complaining) ... or maybe it's just that I haven't figured out everything quite yet. At any rate, I feel like I want to get some more advanced software before I try digi-scrapping again... if anyone has any suggestions, let me know!

P.S. I did ask permission before sharing this photo... that's why I didn't white out the faces like I normally do. Also, my "created by" info is not on the real print, just on the web version! ;)
