...and I snapped a picture while sitting at a red light. (I wonder if any other drivers noticed? LOL!) Can you believe it? I can't remember the last time we saw gas this low!
Last week I was excited about $1.78, and I really didn't think it could go much lower.
How much is gas in your area?
To make you feel even better, I filled up last Friday for $2.09/gallon at Costco (the cheapest place around for gas) and the local prices were $2.29/gallon around my house in Southern California. Enjoy your good fortune ;--)

Jeff filled up my car today & he kept getting pissed when it wouldn't go above $25...it kept clicking "off" and he thought there was a problem. He finally looked at the GALLONS put in, and it was FULL! Awesome! For under $25!
