Select A Candidate 2008

My cousin sent me a link to this quiz today, entitled Select A Candidate 2008. I haven't really gotten excited about any particular candidates yet- all I know for sure is that I do not want to see Hillary in office. (If you're not a fan of Hillary, check out "The Hillary Show" - it's hilarious!)

So, I took the quiz. Obviously this is just a generalization of views and issues, but still, it was interesting. It turns out that the top two candidates who most closely match my views are people I know nothing about, and the guy I'd have likely named if you asked me (John McCain) ranked third on my list. I was surprised by that-- I thought I had a grasp of most of the candidates' views. I'm going to do some reading on these other guys and see what I think of them.

What about you? Have you picked a candidate to support yet?

It's Breast Cancer Awareness month! Have you done your breast self-exam this month?

  1. Hi Amy!

I'm so glad you remembered me. :-) I had been to the site and I don't really know it's accuracy. I was listening to one of the talk shows on the radio, which had one of the candidates (can't remember the details at all right now, sorry), but the candidate HIMSELF went on to see if he would choose himself and it came out wrong. Soo, I wouldn't exactly go by that alone. I did it & I was surprised at the answer too. It came up with Duncan Hunter. My personal top pick would be Mike Huckabee, but since he's not a front-runner I don't think I'm going to vote for him. I think I'll go for Mitt instead. All in all, I'm with you - Anybody but Hillary! :-)

Thanks for the link for "The Hillary Show" I'll have to sit and watch that with my hubby tonight.

  2. My husband and I are supporting Fred Thompson right now.

In the general election I'll be voting for anyone but Hilary, too!
